I’m Dan Ahn 👋
I’m a former 2x President’s Club winning tech salesperson for Series B-IPO’ed(ing) unicorns like Udemy and Navan/TripActions. Now I’m a QuarterLife Coach helping people in their 20’s and 30’s reach their full potential in life and work.
Over the past twenty years, I’ve had a few personal transformations. Some include:
8th grade: I went from slaying virtual cows on Runescape as a scrawny computer nerd to starting on the State Championship Football team as an offensive guard and defensive end, alongside 2 NFL recruits and several D1 players.
24-years-old: I took 15 months off to travel across South America, bike across the US, raise $25K for charity, and started in tech sales at a LinkedIn Top Startup. Before that I was living at home with my parents commuting 4 hours into NYC, earning a base of $35K/year.
29-years-old: I adopted a puppy, ran my first 100-mile ultra, explored creative projects and solopreneurship, and went all-in on personal development. Before that I was a burnout tech salesperson who became a mercenary with no soul.
My 20’s were tumultuous — I jumped from tobacco into tech, recruiting into sales, worked at 5 different companies with 13 different managers, moved from NYC to Denver, and had 2 major existential breakdowns.
Throughout it all, I struggled with mental health, social anxiety, dating, unhappiness with finances and career growth, and health routines and habits. I know the challenges of QuarterLife firsthand.
I left my $200K tech sales job in 2023 and invested over $150,000, on coaching, therapy, courses, books, communities, and experiences to improve my mental health, create a better relationship with money and people, and reconnect with my purpose.
While I’m still deep in my work, I’m sure of who I am and where I’m going now. I don’t drink, overeat, and isolate anymore to cope. I’m not worried about finances and inconsistent with my health anymore. I’m confident enough to face my fears, at peace with my flaws, love and accept myself, and I’m creating the changes I’ve always dreamed of.
Now I want to share the lessons I’ve learned to help you navigate your QuarterLife Crises. I’ll be writing personal essays about my experiences here to help inspire change. Subscribe below so you don’t miss your next breakthrough.
